How my journey began
Hi. I’m Morgan Millogo.
Life has taken me through twists and turns, and many moments where I didn’t know which way was up, let alone forward.
I graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Film and Television Production.
I grew up in Washington State and returned to Seattle after NYU, where I became part of the Indy Film Scene by acting, crewing, producing and directing.
During this time, I became a burlesque performer and emcee.
I spent four years building my life and career in the city that always felt like home, when my life came to a shattering stop.
My father died and with him my life as I knew it.
Four months after my father died, I found myself in Glastonbury, England, beginning a Contemporary Shamanic Practitioner’s Training Course.
The next several years I grieved and looked for the pieces of my soul to make myself whole again.
I lived out of a backpack. I stayed with people I’d barely met.
From Yogis to Circus folk, Polyamory communities to Apolstolic Christians, West African to Asian immigrants, I found myself immersed in cultures that took me out of my comfort zones and enlightened me.
I witnessed first hand the genuine kindness that exists in our intense world.
I am a spiritual woman married to a Burkinabe immigrant, raising a mixed-race child, and working with my ancestors to heal generations.
I don’t see dead people, but I get messages from them if I am willing to listen.
I’ve lived multiple lives within this lifetime and that richness from my winding path lends to my storytelling.
Let’s create the unexpected.
